Parmesan Crusted Cabbage Steaks

Ingredients -
- 1 small cabbage
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Garnish: Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions -
1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cut the cabbage into 1-inch thick steaks. Arrange them on the baking sheet, including any smaller pieces.
3. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
4. Brush the spice mixture generously over both sides of each cabbage steak, making sure to stir the rub occasionally to keep the spices evenly mixed.
5. Sprinkle the cabbage steaks with Parmesan cheese and bake for 20 minutes. Then, carefully flip each steak, and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes until the other side is golden brown.
6.Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot as a delightful side or light main dish.
